Biography
Rebekah is a country singer-songwriter currently residing in Kitchener, Ontario. Coming from a musical family, music has always been in her blood & a passion she pursued from an early age.
Rebekah's musical journey began after posting videos of herself on YouTube, singing a variety of both covers & original songs. She accumulated a steady fan base in doing so and was eventually discovered by an LA producer, who worked alongside the head of Walt Disney Records. In early 2013, Rebekah flew to Los Angeles to record her debut EP, "Here I Am."
Later on that same year, Rebekah was chosen out of hundreds of entrants across Canada as a Boots & Hearts Top 8 Emerging Artist Finalist, thus making her official debut on stage at one of Canada's largest country music festivals. Since then, she has been making a name for herself performing across Ontario, sharing many a festival stage with some of Canadian country's finest acts such as Aaron Pritchett, Jess Moskaluke, Jim Cuddy, the Reklaws & the Washboard Union.
More recently, in working with acclaimed record producer J. Richard Hutt, she has released several singles to Canadian country radio in the last few years, most of which have seen heavy rotation on Sirius XM's "Top of the Country" station. Labelled "One to Watch" by the Country Music Association of Ontario, Rebekah Stevens is only just getting started.
